Professional Liability Insurance
Each member may purchase a $6,000,000 aggregate insurance policy on a one million dollar per occurrence basis. The policy will become effective for each member upon the issuing of a Certificate of Insurance from the insurance carrier regardless of the date of membership. The policy provides $1,000,000 per occurrence and $6,000,000 per member aggregate for all occurrences. The policy has no deductible. Refer to the policy for additional information. As well as the prestige of belonging to a nationally recognized organization, there are many direct, personal and financial benefits to be enjoyed as a member of the A.A.N.C. Membership funds are also used to assist in the fight for health freedom for all consumers, and the right for nutritional professionals to educate consumers.

Each membership requires a $60 annual membership fee.


An Association Membership with the A.A.N.C. is open to all individuals who seek to support the A.A.N.C. and its work by aligning themselves with a prestigious and nationally recognized organization. There are no prerequisites for this membership type, as it is designed to allow individuals who are concerned with health freedom to support the A.A.N.C.'s grassroots efforts in the legislative arena.



The A.A.N.C. Professional Membership is designed for the individual who is currently a practicing nutritional and dietary professional and who wishes to receive the prestigious designation of Certified Nutritional Consultant (C.N.C.®) through the successful completion of the C.N.C.® examination provided by the A.A.N.C. This membership type is only for individuals who have at least one year of previous education or experience in nutrition AND are also applying for board certification.



The A.A.N.C. Diplomate Membership is designed for the individual who has already been awarded the C.N.C.® designation, is currently practicing as a nutritional and dietary professional and who regularly participates in various forms of continuing education pertaining to his/her profession. The C.N.C.® designation is also available through Trinity School of Natural Health. Such continuing education may be in the form of seminars, classes and workshops recognized by the A.A.N.C.
